Moose arrived in Brooklyn on January 27, 2003.

He was very excited to meet his new friends.

We were especially happy to meet Moose.

We made him a little house and a paper doll friend.  Moose was thrilled!

We were so happy that Moose was able to share in our Chinese New Year Celebration.

Moose was not frightened of the Dragon that gathered our wishes and scared away evil spirits.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!

We turned back the clock to Sunday February 2, Groundhog Day.  We put on a show. Moose pretended he was the groundhog.

We invited Class K-103 to see our show.

The stage was set, the sun was shining...

Who is that?

The groundhog's shadow!!!!!

Six more weeks of winter, oh no!

Blame it on the Groundhog!

Moose wore his little 100th Day hat and nestled himself right in the middle of our 100th Day Collection.  The children did such a fantastic job!

We made hats.

We made necklaces.

Silly Moose, that's our 100 Day MIX

not a 100 Day MOOSE.

That's better.

A very busy 100th day of school ending with a celebration of goodies.

Happy 100th Day!

For Valentine's Day we made Happy Valentine Hearts.

A special Valentine's Day Party and a Valentine's Birthday Party too!

Moose gazes out the classroom window at the wintry weather and thinks of his friends at home in Maine.

A kiss from Mrs. Forman's daughter's cat and time to pack Moose's bag to meet new friends in Nebraska.

(The snow you see outside the window...

The Blizzard of 2003.

You can blame it on the groundhog!)
